Trust: A New Beginning: Cristianne Serruya’s Addictive Novel

They are beautiful. They are rich. They are strong willed and successful. They have everything, but love. And each one of them has a dark secret looming in their past.
Sophia is a 25 year old Brazilian widow. Intelligent and ravishing, she flees from her own country after a tragic incident. Hiding from everyone and everything, she remains alone, torn between the love for a dead man, the torment of living without part of her memory and the fear of moving on.
Ethan is one of the most important tycoons in the steel industry. As the memory of an awful evening in his adolescence haunts him night and day, he keeps looking for an elusive woman whom he could love – and who would love him – as he never has in all his 35 years… Until he finds Sophia.
Alistair is a 34 year old powerful banker, searching for one–night stands with women who will warm his bed. And that he can punish physically to abate his anger for his late wife’s black deeds and his own guilt for being such a debauched man for so many years. Any woman will do, and he has many to choose from, as they all fall instantly for his manly, devilish charming ways.
In Europe, in the months after October 2009, their paths will cross and clash. Who will win the prize of love?
This book is the first installment of a trilogy.

When I started reading Trust and Cris told me I’d be done with it in 5 days, I didn’t believe her. I thought I would read it as a break when I was working and then slowly read it. BUT I was SO wrong.

TRUST is the first part of a Trilogy I CANNOT wait to read. The book is ADDICTIVE. I could not put it down.

The story starts with 3 visions. A woman’s tortured nightmares, A man’s annoyance with life and A man’s craze to hurt women in bed. Slowly, their lives interconnect. And How.

I fear making this a spoiler review, the story is so good. Sophia is a beautiful and intelligent woman. She has a strong taste for powerful men, powerful cars and huge mansions. Her expensive taste of clothing but yet a simple mind shows her kind heart. Ethan is a man who gets what he wants. And He cannot let anyone or anything get in his way. His jealousy ruins his relationship with Sophia. Alistair Connor with his green eyes and strong hands is in love with Sophia but cannot see her with another man.

Each of the three have their own past and secrets. Cris has only revealed that Sophia is a widow whose husband is shot in the riots in Rio De Janerio. She cannot remember anything about the shooting, except that she had to take her 3 year old daughter to safety.

Ethan and Alistair have secrets of which the covers have not been raised. That makes the book so intriguing. The passionate love between Alistair and Sophia, Ethan’s marked jealous streak, Sophia’s unpredictability. I could not keep this book down at all.

I loved the parts about the dresses that Sophia wears and the accessories she dons. It creates a very tasteful image in one’s mind. I will wait for this book to be turned into a movie because it will make a great one! I wish Cris the best for that.

This book has everything AND MORE in it for you. It is one of the best books I have read in recent times!!

My Rating: 4/54star

Cris has a great style of writing. The narrative is smooth and easy to understand.

The love scenes are passionate and very well done. The air of mystery around the people is constant during the pages. You can come to know that there is some part being withheld from you.

Cris is a self published author whose works sell online. In continuing my appreciation for Self Published authors not letting their works and the art of writing die, I wish Cris all the best for her sales and DEMAND that the other books come out as soon as possible.
